Be a Part of the Season of Giving at St. Matthew Lutheran Church!
We’re raising $4,000 to create 300 Christmas baskets for families in need this holiday season. Each basket will include a meal, personal hygiene items, and a Portals of Prayer book to bring comfort and hope. Partnering with Interfaith Tuolumne County, we’ll distribute these baskets to make the season a little brighter for those who need it most.
Would you like to join a church family that helps others in meaningful ways? We’d love to have you with us at St. Matthew Church!
If you’d like to support this effort, consider giving today.

December 24 & 25
We warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for a special candlelight service on December 24 at 5 PM. This year, we'll reflect on “Whose love for Christmas?” as we dive into 1 John 4:7-16 and explore the deep, abiding love that makes this season so meaningful. Let’s come together and celebrate love in its truest form.
Then, on Christmas Day, we’ll gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus with a Communion service at 10 AM, centered on “Christmas Lights” from John 1:1-14. Together, we’ll shine a light on the true meaning of Christmas and the hope Jesus brings to the world.
Mark your calendars, invite family and friends, and come share in the joy and warmth of Christmas with us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
